SO - In light of a contest via C4Dcafe.com regarding old-timey gadgets/machinery, I've taken to modeling a pretty complex, old looking telescope. This is a WIP that will, in order to stand a chance in the contest, look MUCH better with insane textures. Comments, criticisms, etc are welcomed!

Image: The Sun
This is an interesting one - happened by accident. It's actually a very long, tapered cylinder with the camera inside, and an omni-light placed far ahead. The inside of the cylinder was textured with a rock-like texture except with no specularity, and the light created a ring. And there it is. Now if only I KNEW what I was doing at the time...

So, many of you have already seen these images, so I want to post them and get them out of the way in one post. That was an amazing sentence.

Welcome!!!
Welcome to Digital Adolescence! This is a blog I've set up to showcase my still-image work to my friends and family. I'm a developing 3D artist, and this is the best way to get my work out ot you guys in the most efficient manner. This is efficient because I don't have to constantly email you!
Rather, you can subscribe to my RSS feed below. For those of you who don't know, this is a way to be automatically updated whenever I post a new image or video. It will ask you if you want to use your browser, or by clicking on "Atom", you can choose an email client (I use Apple Mail).
I strongly urge everyone to subscribe so this can be worthwhile and you can get to see my stuff! I also plan on walking through some of these effects and explaining some of it. Unless otherwise mentioned, everything is CGI.
So enjoy, and subscribe! Thanks guys
